First of all, welcome to SpokenAgainst! My name's Fink (by choice, not by birth), and I started SpokenAgainst a couple years ago on my fifteenth birthday (full story here).

SpokenAgainst is a group dedicated to the GLBTQ community and its allies. We are on a lot of different sites with a lot of different purposes, but here on our main site is the most important for our cause. Here, on our very own social network, I want you to have a safe place to meet new people, share your stories and experiences, find information and advice and whatever you may be looking for. All you have to do is ask, and everyone will come together and help.

It's our own little community, and you are free to join, no matter who you are, what you like, or where you're from.

Please keep in mind, however, that the people here are not professionals. We aren't therapists or psychiatrists. We don't have doctorates or anything like that.

Everyone who is here is here as a friend who can share experiences and give advice. We can't be thought of as professionals; we can only be thought of as good friends.

With that said, feel free to sign up and take a look around. Post a topic in the forum, send out a few friend requests and meet some new people. If there's anything you need, whether it regards your personal life or the site, feel free to send me a message and give me a head's up. My page is right about...here.
