Pastafarianism

So I was surfing the web with a friend and we found an article titled "Student Punished For Spaghetti Beliefs." We found out that the student in question was suspended from school for wearing pirate attire. He told reporters that he wore his pirate outfit because it was part of his religion. In Kansas they passed a law that stated that if students were to be taught the theory of evolution, they are also to be taught the theory of intelligent design. Most of us know that there are many theories of intelligent design, one of them being that God created the world. A man named Bobby Henderson thought that this idea was rediculous and wrote the Kansas School Board demanding that an equal amount of effort be used to teach pastafarianism along with evolution, creationism, etc. Pastafarianism is apparently a religion made up by said Bobby Henderson that believes that the world was created by a flying spaghetti monster with one touch of "His noodly appendage." For some reason, pirates are tied into this and that global warming is due to the decline in the # of pirates.
