FAQ's
This is a section that will grow with us, as I am asked more and
more questions about the site and SpokenAgainst.
1. What does SpokenAgainst do?
SpokenAgainst is a group dedicated to helping members of the GLBT community. What does that mean? Whatever you want it to mean. If you need advice you can ask either ask one of the team members or you can start a topic in our forum to get several responses from several different people. If you have a question you need answered or you need information you can't find, feel free to send a message our way and we'll see what we can do to help.
2.Who is 'Fink'?
Fink is the founder of SpokenAgainst. She runs the site here, along with the YouTube, Photobucket and Myspace profiles. She is not a trained professional, but she does want to help, and she does care about every single person on this site. Don't be afraid to visit her profile...here.
3. On my profile there is a section called RSS. What does that mean?
RSS is really just a way to keep you updated from your favorite news site. For example, on Fink's page, her RSS is up as 365gay.com, a GLBT online news site, and then the top stories from 365gay.com will show up on her profile to keep her informed. You can put in google news, yahoo news, aol news, CNN, etc.
3. I can't figure out how to change my profile picture, mind giving me some instructions?
What you need to do is go on your profile, and find where it says "Change My Picture or theme".
It'll bring you to a page where you can do both. Look for the small picture of the SA banner next to where it says "Profile Picture", and click the white box next to it.
It should then say "Upload a picture..." then "Use existing image" and "Upload an image from your computer".
Click the circle next to where it says "Upload an image..." and you should be able to get a picture off of your computer.
